ABOUT
US

Camiah Eastwood Mingorance grew up in an a small farming community in central Washington state, called Yakima. Her parents raised her in the faith and tradition of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and that faith remains the center of her life.

Along with faith, the hallmarks of her childhood were family, hard work and music. Camiah attended college at Yakima Valley Community College and then transferred to Brigham Young University.

Camiah married Roger MIngorance in 1996 and they moved to Atlanta, Georgia where they raised their four children with a strange mixture of Camiah’s small town American culture and Roger’s big city Brazilian culture.

While raising her family with Roger has been her first priority, Camiah has been a voice teacher for 24 years and owns two companies - CEM Music Studio and College Audition Project. She teaches for professional theaters, music directs stage productions, offers vocal health workshops and specializes in preparing students for college theatre/musical theatre auditions.

She has served as a Relief Society Presidency counselor, a Relief Society teacher, a Young Women’s teacher, a Young Women’s Presidency counselor, a Primary Music Chorister, a Youth Sunday School teacher and as a Young Women’s President. Through all of these opportunities to serve, Camiah has come to realize that teaching the youth of the church is where her passion is.

Drawing from life experiences and her personal testimony of the Savior, Camiah hopes to share with you her thoughts and insights into life, relationships and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
